Before GriGsi starts

GriGsi Community is a browsing trust layer. After you agree, it will:

  • Read the current page URL and scan text you type or paste (domains, emails, phone numbers, IBANs) to show trust prompts.
  • Store settings and allow-lists on this device (including values you accept, not only hashes).
  • Send to GriGsi servers: truncated hashes for community votes, a random install id, browser type, extension version, and language; heartbeats; and anonymous tab-mode counts.
  • In free Community mode, show GriGsi notices or ads on websites. These are not built from a sold advertising profile of your history.
  • If you later join a group or Space, share visited domains with that group’s admin. Organisation Spaces may also share the active tab URL and title if screen activity is enabled.
  • If you use LieCheck, send claim text through GriGsi and may query DuckDuckGo for public snippets.
